- Conduct regular inspections of civil works including concrete casting, soil compaction, reinforcement installation, and structural works.
- Verify that all construction activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and international standards (ASTM, ACI, BS, ISO).
- Review and approve QA/QC documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality checklists.
- Supervise and monitor testing procedures for concrete, soil, aggregates, and steel reinforcement, ensuring proper techniques and accurate reporting.
- Maintain accurate and timely quality records, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Coordinate with subcontractors, site engineers, and project management to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits, inspections, and quality assurance activities.
- Participate in risk assessments and ensure safety and quality compliance in all civil operations
Desired Skills & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5–8 years of QA/QC experience in civil construction within oil & gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards, codes, ITPs, and documentation requirements.
- Hands-on experience in civil material testing and inspection procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD/QA-QC reporting systems is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
