QC LEAD

JOB VACANCY: QC LEAD – NFS PROJECT

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QC Lead to manage and oversee all quality control activities for the NFS Project. The QC Lead will be responsible for implementing the Project Quality Plan, leading the QC team, and ensuring full compliance with client specifications, project standards, and international codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Project Quality Control team (QC Engineers & Inspectors).
• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
• Ensure compliance with approved ITPs, procedures, drawings, and specifications.
• Act as the primary quality interface with the Client, PMC, and Third-Party Inspectors.
• Oversee inspections related to:
• Piping, mechanical, structural works
• Welding, NDT, hydrotesting
• Material receiving and traceability
• Review and close NCRs, corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure preparation and approval of test packs, MDR/QVD, and handover dossiers.
• Support audits, surveillance, and client quality reviews.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and HSE teams to ensure quality compliance.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Engineering Degree or Diploma (Mechanical preferred).
• 8–12+ years experience in Oil & Gas / EPC projects.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a QC Lead / Senior QC Engineer / QC Supervisor role.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards:
• API, ASME, ASTM, ISO
• Proven experience in:
• Welding & NDT control
• Piping & mechanical inspection
• Hydrotesting and commissioning support
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and client communication skills.

Certifications (Preferred)

• CSWIP / AWS / BGAS or equivalent
• NDT Level II (UT, RT, MT, PT)
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (advantage)
