QC Manager (Denim) - Expat Welcome

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supervising QC/ technical staff and maintaining quality control processes, analyzing the results, and giving feedback and guidance to the production & manufacturing teams under direct supervision
• Evaluate denim-specific attributes, including fabric quality, wash techniques, stitching, fit, and finishing processes, to ensure consistency and adherence to design specifications
• Manage and decide all regulatory guidelines, i.e. raw materials, products, and/or processes are in accordance with specifications
• Ensure designated factories follow the production processes and best practices to produce expected quality standards
• Examine test results, stablished specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on quality solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Fashion, Textiles or related disciplines
• At least 10-year relevant working experience in garment trading field; experience in USA market is preferable
• Denim experience is a must; Proven expertise in denim fabric characteristics, wash techniques, and garment construction
• Possess knowledge in factory safety and apparel safety requirements for US and EU
• Sound knowledge in technical patterns and construction
• Good problem solving and communication skills to deal with customers and factories
• Independent, well-organized and presentable
• Good computer knowledge (MS Office - Word, Excel)
• Good command of both written and spoken English
