Job Summary

The QA/QC Manager is responsible for leading the company’s quality assurance and quality control functions across all manufacturing operations. This includes developing and maintaining quality systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading the QA/QC team to achieve consistent product excellence and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee the company’s QA/QC strategy, systems, and policies in alignment with ISO and international standards.
  • Manage and supervise all quality control activities throughout the production cycle — from raw materials to final precast product delivery.
  • Ensure all products meet project specifications, codes, and client requirements.
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management frameworks.
  • Analyze non-conformities, establish corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with technical office, production, and site teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement process improvements.
  • Manage material testing, inspection plans, calibration of tools and laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain comprehensive quality documentation including reports, certifications, and traceability records.
  • Develop and deliver QA/QC training programs to enhance quality awareness across departments.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to the QA/QC team to ensure continuous development and accountability.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Postgraduate certification in Quality Management or ISO Systems is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in quality assurance/control, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing or precast concrete environment.
  • Strong background in concrete production, materials testing, and international quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication and decision-making skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of QA/QC standards, inspection techniques, and documentation requirements in the precast concrete industry.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ASTM, BS, and related construction quality standards.
  • Experience in audit management and root cause analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with ERP or QMS (Quality Management System) software is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to lead cross-functional quality initiatives and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Strong organizational and reporting capabilities.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on quality outcomes.
