QC/QA Inspector – High-Rise Building Project (Dubai)

Important Note:

*Minimum 5 years of work experience in the UAE

*Proven experience in high-rise building projects

*Currently based in the UAE

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pre-Construction PhaseReview project specifications, IFC drawings, and method statements to identify quality requirements.Participate in the preparation and approval of Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and Quality Control Procedures.Conduct material inspections upon delivery and verify compliance with approved material submittals.Coordinate with the laboratory for material testing (concrete, steel, soil, etc.).

2. Structural Works PhaseInspect formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, and curing processes to ensure compliance with standards and approved drawings.Verify embedment locations, anchor bolts, and post-tensioning ducts prior to concrete pouring.Monitor concrete sampling, slump tests, and cube casting.Ensure proper documentation of all inspection requests (IRs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

3. Architectural and Finishing WorksInspect blockwork, plastering, painting, tiling, waterproofing, and other architectural finishes.Check alignment, levels, tolerances, and workmanship according to project specifications.Ensure the use of approved materials and correct installation techniques.Conduct mock-up inspections and verify finishing works prior to consultant approval.

4. MEP CoordinationCoordinate with MEP inspectors for inspection of embedded works, sleeves, and openings prior to casting.Ensure that structural and architectural interfaces are maintained with MEP systems.

5. Quality DocumentationMaintain all quality inspection records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports.Assist in maintaining project quality files in accordance with ISO standards.Prepare and follow up on NCRs, Site Observation Reports (SORs), and Corrective Action Reports (CARs).

6. Handover PhaseParticipate in final inspections and snagging works.Verify completion of punch list items before handing over to the client/consultant.Compile and prepare quality-related documentation for the project handover dossier.

Qualifications & Requirements:

*Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology.

*Minimum 5 years of experience as QC/QA Inspector in high-rise building projects in the UAE or GCC.

*Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality, DM, Trakhees, and ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.

*Familiar with international standards such as ASTM, BS, ACI, and AISC.

*Proficient in documentation, inspection reporting, and use of quality management systems.

*Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with consultants and subcontractors.
