QHSE Officer

1. Quality (Q)

• Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 9001
• Conduct internal quality audits and inspections
• Monitor product/service quality and identify improvement areas
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformities
• Prepare quality reports for management review
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives

2. Health & Safety (H&S)

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety laws
• Implement safety standards like ISO 45001
• Conduct risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
• Organize safety training and toolbox talks
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Conduct emergency drills (fire, evacuation, etc.)
• Monitor workplace safety conditions

3. Environment (E)

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
• Implement Environmental Management System (EMS) such as ISO 14001
• Monitor waste management and pollution control
• Promote energy conservation and sustainability initiatives
• Conduct environmental impact assessments
• Ensure safe disposal of hazardous materials

4. General Responsibilities

• Develop and update QHSE policies and procedures
• Maintain QHSE documentation and records
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors
• Prepare monthly/annual QHSE reports
• Conduct site inspections and audits
• Support certification and recertification audits
• Promote a strong safety culture within the organization
• Ensure compliance with company and client requirements

5. Administrative & Reporting Duties

• Maintain incident logs and compliance records
• Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Review contractor safety performance
• Support management during external inspections
• Keep updated with new regulations and industry standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From QAR2,000.00 per month
