QHSE Officer

The QHSE Officer reports to the Assistant QHSE Manager, QHSE Manager, or Senior QHSE Manager, in accordance with the approved organizational chart. They are required to follow the established reporting hierarchy and procedures at all times

In addition to the above key accountabilities, QHSE Officers must report operational matters to the Project Director or senior project personnel. Their reporting requirements are subject to contractual and project-specific requirements

As part of the implementation of the QHSE and Sustainability Management System within the project, QHSE Officers must perform their tasks in line with proactive safety requirements. He/She is responsible for carrying out these tasks accordingly

QHSE Officers must ensure that all reactive safety measures are implemented in full compliance with both the company’s and the client’s emergency procedures

The QHSE officers are responsible for maintaining company confidentiality both during their employment and after leaving the organization. Any breach of confidentiality may result in legal action being taken by the company

The QHSE officers must report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, or non-conformities to their immediate reporting manager without delay

The QHSE officers must ensure that all tasks assigned to them are completed effectively and in a timely manner

QHSE Officers must conduct inspections, deliver training, attend meetings, and prepare minutes of meetings—all of which are mandatory responsibilities

QHSE Officers are required to conduct one surprise inspection each month.

The QHSE Officers are required to take prompt action in response to any proactive or reactive safety requirements

QHSE Officers must always be prepared for any type of audit, whether internal or external

QHSE Officers must ensure that the project KPIs are achieved without any issues or delays

Maintain the QHSE files up to date, including all relevant documentation

Ensure all training data is updated in the project file and properly maintained.
