The Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all interior fit-out works meet required standards, specifications, and client expectations. The role includes monitoring the quality of site execution, materials, and processes across various phases of fit-out projects in line with UAE regulations and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor on-site fit-out works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Control procedures, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements.
- Conduct material inspections, verifying quality certifications and supplier compliance.
- Carry out routine site inspections and create reports on findings, including non-conformance issues.
- Raise and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits and assist in preparing audit documentation.
- Maintain all QA documentation for site works, material submittals, inspection records, snagging reports, and test results.
- Ensure compliance with local authority standards (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.) and client-specific requirements.
- Support the handover process by ensuring final quality checks and rectifying snags/punch list items.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, methods, and finishing standards.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and quality assurance practices.
- Knowledge of UAE construction and safety regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Proficient in using tools like MS Office, AutoCAD (for reference to drawings), and inspection/snagging apps (e.g., PlanRadar, SnagR).
- Strong written and verbal communication for reporting and coordination.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Certification in Quality Management (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, etc.) is an advantage.
- Proven experience working on commercial, retail, or hospitality interior fit-out projects in the UAE.
Preferred Background:
- Experience working with fit-out contractors, consultants, or PMC in the UAE.
- Knowledge of MEP coordination related to interior works is a plus.
- Experience with snagging, de-snagging, and handover processes.
