The person selected for this role will verify compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and Corporate Quality requirements through auditing, will be responsible for performing internal business process monitoring, and will lead focused improvement projects in a variety of functional areas that lead to growth. The successful person will draw conclusions and provide recommendations to problems relating to process effectiveness, work methods, procedures, efficiency, and documentation control. The successful candidate will ensure data captured from multiple sources are aggregated into compelling metrics that support growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate the ATC Quality Vision “Creating transferable knowledge that leads to growth.”
  • Make recommendation to and implement approved audit schedule for ATC and I&S processes.
  • Manage and prioritize work load and direction with little supervision.
  • Capture workflows of existing and new business processes that create learning opportunities.
  • Prepare and brief status reports and recommendations on programs, projects and operational performance using data analysis, charts and graphs to make the case for improvement.
  • Lead Quality Assurance Team when the Quality Manager is otherwise engaged.
  • Other duties as assigned
This position is in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School diploma and at least 8 years of related experience
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement, lead process improvement efforts and recommend changes that optimize performance.
Willingness and capacity to influence and motivate team members and stakeholders
Exceptional communicator within a variety of levels inside and outside of the organization
Skilled at control and maintenance of a wide variety of records (manually and electronically)
Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned sparking creative methods and solutions
Strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project, Teams, Adobe PDF, and Outlook
ISO 9001:2015 Lead / Internal Auditor training or certification
Lean Six Sigma training (green belt) or other process improvement training
Prior experience working with Department of Defense or United States Military
Knowledge of project management, process design and documentation skills
Experience with internal and external audits
Experience with documentation management and control

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business or Management or a technical discipline

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66084 - $112343

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
