Quality Analyst (QA)

Job Description:

As a Quality Analyst (Manual Testing – Fresher), you will be responsible for testing our software applications to ensure they meet the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with developers, project managers, and other team members to identify, document, and report issues. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in software testing and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects, bugs, and issues.
• Review and analyse system specifications to develop effective test plans and test cases.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results.
• Identify, document, and report bugs or issues in the defect tracking system.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to resolve defects and ensure timely project delivery.
• Ensure that testing activities comply with industry standards and internal policies.
• Participate in team meetings and provide updates on testing progress.
• Learn and adapt to new testing tools and methodologies as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Regression, Functional, Smoke, Sanity, Ad-hoc Testing, GUI Testing, UAT, Performance Testing etc.
• Familiarity with manual testing concepts, techniques, and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
