Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in automation and performance testing is crucial to the success of the Infor Data Services team. By developing and implementing robust automation frameworks and performance tests, this role ensures the delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions that align with our business objectives to enhance customer satisfaction and platform reliability.

Essential Duties:

Develop and maintain automation tools and test frameworks, primarily using Java and Selenium.

Collaborate with software engineers and architects to understand application designs and specifications for comprehensive test automation.

Design, implement, and monitor automated test suites and performance tests for web applications and RESTful services.

Configure, run, and monitor cloud environments to run automation scripts.

Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure application scalability.

Develop test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure thorough test coverage and high-quality software delivery.

Coordinate with development and deployment teams to resolve issues and ensure bug-free product releases.

Generate and present summary reports after each sprint, highlighting test results and areas for improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

4-5 years of experience in automation testing, with extensive knowledge of Java.

Strong coding skills in Java, with experience in using Selenium for web application automation.

Proficiency in using TestNG and Maven for building and managing test frameworks.

Experience with REST API test automation, using Java, JavaScript, or Python.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.

Solid understanding of SQL and experience in data testing.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in performance testing and using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.

Proven experience in leading and mentoring team members in best practices for QA automation.
