Quality Assurance Analyst

Department : Customer Success

Reports to: Product Manager

Position Type : Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Location: Hybrid - 3 days in our office, 2 days at home

Working Hours: 6:00PM to 2:00AM

BRIEF SUMMARY

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, your primary role is to be involved throughout the product development lifecycle from design to deployment. You ensure our software applications meet the highest standards of quality, usability, and performance for our customers. You will test and validate product features, identify and report issues, and create clear and user-friendly documentation to support successful adoption of new and existing features.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to provide input on testing, usability, and quality risks of new features and product releases.
  • Develop and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases based on product requirements and design specifications.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution.
  • Write clear, concise bug reports with detailed reproduction steps.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing across all platforms.
  • Create and maintain a standard to summarize testing results and provide reports on errors and design issues.
  • Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Participate in sprint planning and development meetings when needed.
  • Advocate for quality and user experience throughout the development process.
  • Contribute to action plans that address recurring issues and improve testing/design processes.
  • Collaborate with the Account Management and Support teams to understand user requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Development team to stay informed about software updates, new features, and changes.
  • Update training materials and programs to reflect changes and improvements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of training materials, user guides, and frequently asked questions (FAQs).
  • Assist in developing checklists and best practices to reduce defects before release.
  • Conduct assessments to identify the educational needs and skill gaps of end-users.
  • Create engaging training materials, documentation, and multimedia content to support educational initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

EDUCATION and QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 1+ years of experience testing and validating features and functions of systems.
  • 2+ years of experience designing and creating user education materials.
  • 3+ years of experience using an Electronic Health Record application or similar system.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.


Preferred

  • Two- or Four-year college degree.
  • 1+ years of experience of testing and quality assurance.
