General Responsibilities

  • Promote a university-wide culture of quality and continuous improvement across academic and administrative functions.
  • Ensure compliance with national standards (such as NCAAA in Saudi Arabia) and international quality assurance frameworks relevant to higher education in arts disciplines.
  • Coordinate periodic internal and external quality audits, program reviews, and accreditation exercises.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance policies, manuals, and documentation systems.
  • Act as the central point of communication between departments, leadership, and external stakeholders regarding quality matters.
  • Monitor institutional performance indicators, KPIs, and benchmarks to align with strategic objectives.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and report data related to teaching effectiveness, student outcomes, employability, and academic services.
  • Coordinate preparation of self-study reports, accreditation submissions, and quality review documentation.
  • Organize training workshops for faculty and staff on quality standards, assessment methods, and accreditation requirements.
  • Ensure timely collection of course evaluations, student satisfaction surveys, alumni feedback, and employer surveys.
  • Track compliance with curriculum requirements, learning outcomes assessment, and academic policies.
  • Maintain databases and dashboards for monitoring academic performance and institutional KPIs.
  • Support corrective action plans in response to audit findings or stakeholder feedback.
  • Provide administrative support to quality committees, task forces, and governance bodies.

Industry Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in quality assurance, accreditation, or institutional effectiveness within higher education (preferably in arts, culture, or creative industries education).
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi national accreditation standards (e.g., NCAAA) and experience with international accreditation frameworks (e.g., NASAD, QAA, AACSB if relevant to arts management).
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, academic assessment, and institutional reporting.
  • Exposure to both academic and administrative quality frameworks in higher education institutions.
  • Experience in a start-up or newly established entity is highly desirable.

Interpersonal skills

  • Strong communication skills (Arabic and English) to engage effectively with faculty, administrators, students, and external regulators.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and drive improvement initiatives.
  • High adaptability to a dynamic, multicultural, and arts-focused university environment.
