Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in software testing. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications by executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and working closely with the development team to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and validate features.
• Perform regression, functional, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Verify software against acceptance criteria and ensure releases meet quality standards.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare and maintain detailed bug reports, test results, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in QA or software testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Basic understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
