Job Objective 

As a QA Engineer, you will test and validate in-house SaaS and AI-enabled applications built on AWS cloud environments. This role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and execution excellence to help deliver reliable, high-quality products. 

Responsibilities 

• Perform manual and automated testing of client/server, web-based, and emerging AI-driven applications. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements, specifications, and design documents. 

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases, including smoke, regression, functional, UAT, and deployment testing. 

• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities with Dev and QA team members. 

• Execute manual test scripts, capture results, and maintain accurate test documentation in JIRA. 

• Identify, document, and track defects with clear, reproducible steps. 

• Ensure proper test coverage and identify potential risks in both web applications and AI-related flows. 

• Contribute to process improvements that strengthen the QA lifecycle. 

• Stay updated on SaaS, AI, cloud technologies, and modern testing methodologies. 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline. 

• 3–5 years of experience as a QA Engineer testing frontend and backend components. 

• Experience testing SaaS applications. 

• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies, including AI and cloud platforms. 

• Experience with automation tools and scripting (web apps; AI testing is a plus). 

• Hands-on familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, etc.). 

• Strong ability to write and maintain detailed test plans, cases, and user stories. 

• Experience executing SQL queries for backend data validation. 

• Proven ability to identify, report, and track bugs with clarity. 

• Comfortable working in Agile/SCRUM environments with JIRA. 

• Solid understanding of SDLC and software testing best practices. 

• Basic programming knowledge (Python preferred) is a plus. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

• Ability to work collaboratively across global teams. 

Nice to Have 

• AWS certifications. 

• Experience validating AI/ML models. 

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or DevOps environments.
