Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Tester (Automation and Manual)

Cloud Mesh Solutions is a fast-growing Swiss-based company specializing in cloud-based solutions.We are looking for a skilled and motivated SQA Tester to join our dynamic team to ensure our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Job Summary: The SQA Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through a combination of manual and automated testing techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles and practices, experience with test automation tools, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Design:
• Develop, review, and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand project requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Manual Testing:
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on various software applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures.
• Automation Testing:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Integrate automated tests with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and work with development teams to resolve defects.
• Test Execution and Reporting:
• Execute tests and log results, ensuring that the software meets business and technical requirements.
• Provide clear and concise testing status reports, including defect summaries and testing progress updates.
• Work closely with the development team to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, testing tools, and best practices.
• Recommend and implement improvements to testing processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide junior team members on testing methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
• Experience with manual testing techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
