The
Quality Assurance Engineer / Specialist
ensures product and process quality across all production stages. This role involves monitoring and improving quality control systems, supporting ISO compliance, and collaborating closely with production and maintenance teams to maintain Intertrade’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect and monitor product quality during all manufacturing stages (compounding, extrusion, welding, sorting, and packing).

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and documentation.

Implement, document and maintain IMS: (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) management systems and documentation and SOPs.

Execute risk assessment and develop contingency plans for critical processes.

Ensure adherence to internal and external regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformities apply 8D and 5 Whys.

Conduct routine inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.

Support the Quality Manager in internal audits, customer complaint investigations, and continuous improvement projects.

Prepare and maintain inspection reports, control charts, and quality records.

Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Materials Inspection teams to ensure consistent product quality.

Participate in training programs and promote 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and findings to management and relevant stakeholders.

Prepare and follow-up customer audits and respond to quality-related inquiries from clients and partners.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical).

1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably plastics or pvc industry).

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, quality inspection methods, and documentation.

Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma principles is an advantage.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong communication and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
