Quality Assurance Manager

We are searching for a collaborative Quality Assurance Manager with strong managerial skills and commitment to safety and quality.

  • Oversees the Quality Management System and Compliance.
  • Proactively ensure the site remains ISO9001 compliant and prepare for AS9100 certification.
  • Be the primary person of contact for all external audits and auditors.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to ensure process adherence by all parties.
  • Review, update, and reduce manual paperwork for quality processes.
  • Oversee/perform periodic internal audits of Quality, Operations, and Engineering in all areas.
  • Conduct training on all quality employee certifications, processes and procedures.
  • Seek out and facilitate continuous improvement projects throughout the company.
  • Prepare and brief monthly/quarterly/yearly reports to conform to QMS and other requirements to communicate quality assurance activities and results.
  • Formulate effective data collection methods.
  • Compile and present quality reports based on data collected.
  • Develop and manage quality assurance auditors and inspectors.
  • Will be responsible for additional tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience as a Quality Manager in a manufacturing environment preferably in electronics.
  • ISO9001 Quality System is preferred.
  • AS9100 experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in a team environment
  • Fluency in a secondary language (desirable)
