Quality Assurance Manager – Home Health Agency

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality assurance initiatives within a home health agency. This pivotal role involves ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, maintaining high standards of patient care, and fostering continuous improvement across all operational processes. Duties

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance programs aligned with healthcare standards and regulations such as ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and other applicable guidelines.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
• Oversee the development and execution of quality control procedures across all clinical and administrative functions.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for any quality issues or adverse events, implementing corrective and preventive actions promptly.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure adherence to healthcare protocols, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles where applicable, and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
• Manage documentation related to quality systems, audit reports, compliance records, and regulatory submissions.
• Facilitate ongoing staff training on quality standards, regulatory updates, and best practices in healthcare service delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data trends and implementing innovative solutions to enhance patient safety and service quality.

Experience

• Proven experience in quality assurance management within a healthcare or home health setting.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations including ISO 9001 standards, FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP practices, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting quality audits, inspections, and analysis skills necessary for root cause investigations.
• Background in manufacturing or clinical environments with exposure to quality control processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making to improve quality systems.
• Effective communication skills for training staff, leading audits, and collaborating with regulatory bodies.
