Quality Control

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with Dan-Loc quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment involving fasteners, gaskets, or machined metal parts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality inspections on incoming raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products.
• Verify dimensions, threads, finishes, and materials using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.
• Ensure products meet specifications, blueprints, and industry standards (ASTM, ASME, API, etc.).
• Record inspection results, maintain quality documentation, and report non-conformances.
• Work closely with production and warehouse teams to correct quality issues.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and proper packaging.
• Assist in root-cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent defects.
• Follow safety and ISO 9001 quality procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in quality or machining a plus.
• 2+ years of quality control or inspection experience in manufacturing, machining, or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and part specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report documentation.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
