  • Develop, implement, and maintain the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) in line with international standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Define the company's quality policy, objectives, and strategic goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA/QC Managers, Engineers, and Inspectors across various projects.
  • Report directly to senior management on the performance of the QMS and opportunities for improvement.
  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all key construction processes (e.g., concrete pouring, welding, MEP installations, finishing works).
  • Develop and control project-specific Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Ensure all quality records are properly maintained and readily retrievable for audits and project close-outs.
  • Review project contracts, specifications, and drawings to identify all quality requirements.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings to establish quality expectations with clients, designers, and subcontractors.
  • Vet and approve the quality systems of key subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Oversee all on-site and off-site quality control inspection and testing activities.
  • Ensure materials and equipment received on site are as specified and properly stored.
  • Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with approved methods and standards.
  • Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, ensuring timely identification, documentation, and resolution of defects.
  • Chair regular quality coordination meetings with project teams and subcontractors.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits of projects and company processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits (client, third-party, certification bodies).
  • Analyze quality performance data (e.g., NCR rates, rework costs) to identify trends and root causes.
  • Implement Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans to address systemic issues.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence throughout the organization.
  • Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry standards, construction methodologies, and best practices.
