Job Title: Quality Control Engineer – Railway Project
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Quality Control Engineer
to join our team for a major
Railway Infrastructure Project
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all construction, installation, and testing activities meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor the
Quality Control Plan (QCP)
for the railway project

Conduct inspections of civil, structural, MEP, track, and systems installation works
-
Ensure compliance with approved
ITPs, method statements, project specifications, and quality procedures
-
Review material submittals, inspection requests, test reports, and quality documentation
-
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams for inspections and approvals
-
Identify non-conformities and issue
NCRs
, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions

Monitor testing and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with quality standards
-
Maintain records of inspections, audits, punch lists, and quality reports
-
Support internal and external quality audits and client inspections
-
Ensure all works comply with railway authority standards and international codes
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in
Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
or related discipline
-
Minimum
5–8 years of experience
in quality control, preferably within
railway, metro, or infrastructure projects
-
Strong knowledge of
QA/QC procedures, ITPs, NCR management, and inspection protocols
-
Experience in railway systems, track works, stations, or associated infrastructure is preferred
-
Familiarity with ISO standards and project quality documentation
-
Excellent reporting, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
-
Previous experience in
railway / metro / rail infrastructure projects
-
GCC / Middle East project experience is an advantage
