This position ensures that all repaired and overhauled products meet the required standards outlined in the latest revision manuals. The Inspector performs inspections at various stages of the repair/overhaul process, from receiving inspection to final product release, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and maintaining accurate records. This role requires a strong understanding of aviation regulations, quality control procedures, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receiving Inspection:
Conduct thorough inspections of parts and components received from customers or repair vendors, verifying documentation, identifying any damage, and ensuring compliance with specifications.

Final Inspection:
Conduct final inspections of repaired/overhauled products to ensure they meet all required standards and are airworthy. Prepare all necessary documentation for release.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, including inspection reports, discrepancy reports, and corrective action records. Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Compliance:
Adhere to all applicable aviation regulations, company policies, and quality control procedures. Stay up-to-date on the latest revisions to manuals and regulations.

Problem Solving:
Identify and troubleshoot problems that arise during the inspection process. Recommend solutions and work with other team members to implement corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of the repair/overhaul process.
Required Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in aviation maintenance or a related field is preferred.

Experience:
5 years of experience in the aviation field, with at least 18 months of hands-on shop experience.
Skills:

Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).

Proficient in using MS office applications as well modern ERP systems as applicable. .

Expertise with precision measuring tools.

In-depth knowledge of reading and understanding Technical Orders (TOs) and OEM manuals.

Strong understanding of inspection terminology and quality control principles.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in aerospace field with specific aircraft types or systems.

Licenses/Certifications

FAA or GACA airman license.
