Quality Control Inspector (Full‑Time) – Immediate Opening - local candidates only please

Location: Ham Lake, MN
Schedule: Part‑time, 20 hours/week
Shift: Standard Shift (Flexible schedule available) 6:00am-4:30 pm M-Th, Fridays 6:00 am-11:00 am (will vary depending on workload)

About Us

We are a world‑class precision machine shop specializing in high‑quality, tight‑tolerance components. We are seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Control Inspector to support our inspection and documentation processes. This role is ideal for someone experienced in precision measurement and quality systems within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform in‑process, final, and First Article Inspections (FAI)
• Verify that all parts meet company standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
• Follow and support the company’s quality procedures and inspection protocols
• Assist with calibration tasks (preferred)

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Quality Control/inspection experience required
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, guages, indicators, optical comparator, etc. )
• CMM experience required
• Strong computer skills for documentation and reporting
• Experience with CNC machining or machine shop environments (preferred)
• Calibration experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with ISO and AS9100 quality standards (preferred)

Work Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 6:00am–4:30pm
• Friday: 6:00am–12:00pm (may vary based on workload)
• Flexible scheduling available upon request
• Full-time, non‑exempt (40 hours per week)
