Quality Control Inspector

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Department: Quality Assurance

Reports to: Quality Assurance Assistant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

▪ Processing and packaging reviews

▪ Pre-op and Operational sanitation plant inspection

▪ Assist in plant testing

▪ Testing and sampling of products in process and finished items to evaluate product quality and

safety

▪ During any change to new packaging or products, review specifications for completeness.

▪ Assure that all pertinent information is documented appropriately for incoming materials.

▪ Enforce procedures and controls to assure that all products are prepared according to the FWF

standards and specifications.

▪ Check equipment calibration.

▪ Daily processing and packaging process reviews

▪ Ensure conformance to specifications

▪ Report problems or concerns to QA Assistant.

▪ Daily review of all QA reports, including HACCP

▪ Maintain test and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices.

▪ Others assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

▪ One year of QC inspector food industry experience.

▪ High School Diploma or GED required

▪ Ability to work in a team environment.

▪ Bilingual in English/Spanish

▪ Ability to handle multiple tasks.

▪ Ability to use best judgment.

▪ Computer skills (word, Excel, PowerPoint)

▪ Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees

▪ Open to working night and weekend.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
