Quality Control Inspector

Position Summary

The Quality Control Inspector evaluate and inspect product to ensure the organization’s production operations, from raw materials to finished products, meet the quality, integrity, and efficiency standards set by the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

▪ Evaluates and inspects production operations and product from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements.

▪ Collaborates with management across production departments and roles to meet acceptable quality standards.

▪ Occasionally wraps cabinets when time permits
▪ Complete all necessary paperwork associated with position in an accurate time and manner

▪ Housekeeping/safety

▪ Other duties as assigned

Education, Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required

None

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to the typical environment found in an office, as well as those found in a wood manufacturing facility, such as noise, dust, heat, cold, and finishing fumes and odors. The employee will often be called upon to meet and direct outside trucks, in which case the employee will encounter normal weather patterns for the season, i.e. heat, cold, rain, or snow.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, climb, crouch, and reach. The employee may regularly lift of move items up to 50 pounds or heavier; use of proper material handling equipment is available.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm.

Additional hours and overtime required as necessary.

Travel not required.
