Job Description – Field Quality Engineer (ISO Certification)

Position: Field Quality Engineer
Department: Quality / ISO Consulting
Location: Bhosari Pimpri Chinchwad
Reports To: Project Manager / Quality Lead

Role Overview:

The Field Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting ISO certification projects by conducting on-site quality assessments, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), auditing client processes, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.). This role involves close interaction with client teams, documentation of findings, and assisting in the preparation of certification-ready systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• On-Site Quality Assessment & Auditing
• Conduct field visits to client locations to evaluate processes against ISO requirements.
• Perform gap analysis and prepare audit reports highlighting non-conformities.
• Assist in internal audits before certification audits.
• Documentation & SOP Development
• Collect client inputs and prepare standardized documentation (quality manuals, SOPs, checklists).
• Maintain centralized records of client data, audit reports, and corrective actions.
• Implementation Support
• Guide client teams in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support clients in adopting standardized processes, forms, and templates.
• Monitor effectiveness of implementation through follow-ups and site checks.
• Client Communication
• Coordinate with client representatives to clarify requirements.
• Assist in drafting professional emails, reports, and presentations for client updates.
• Ensure timely communication of project milestones and issues.
• Training & Awareness
• Conduct basic awareness sessions for client employees on ISO standards and best practices.
• Provide hands-on guidance in quality control techniques.
• Project Execution Support
• Track progress of client certification projects and report delays or risks to Project Manager.
• Ensure timelines are met for documentation, audits, and certification readiness.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Education:
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering or related field.
• Experience:
• 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control/ISO implementation (freshers with ISO training may be considered).
• Skills:
• Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001 preferred).
• Strong documentation and report writing skills.
• Ability to conduct on-site audits and interact with client teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Other Requirements:
• Willingness to travel to client sites.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

• Timely completion of client audits and documentation.
• Accuracy and quality of reports submitted.
• Number of non-conformities resolved before certification audit.
• Client satisfaction and feedback.
• Contribution to project delivery within deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
