Summary:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality projects by implementing and maintaining effective quality assurance processes. With a focus on monitoring construction practices, reviewing materials, and ensuring adherence to specifications. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong ability to identify problems and offer timely solutions to ensure smooth project execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
  • Review project designs and technical specifications to ensure they meet quality requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the quality of materials and construction practices.
  • Document inspection and testing activities and prepare detailed quality reports with necessary recommendations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on quality issues.
  • Oversee contractors and suppliers, ensuring their compliance with contractual quality standards.
  • Supervise quality tests for key construction materials in coordination with accredited laboratories.
  • Support on-site engineering teams by interpreting quality standards and providing technical guidance as needed.
  • Identify and address any quality-related issues promptly to maintain project timelines and standards.
  • Develop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measures.
  • Prepare quality reports and communicate findings to management for continuous improvement.


Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or Quality Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven quality experience.
  • Good knowledge of quality management standards and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry.
  • Experience in working closely with contractors and suppliers, including conducting on-site reviews of their work.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong auditing and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively.
