Job Introduction:

The Quality Engineer plays a key role in ensuring product and process quality throughout the project lifecycle. In this position, you will manage quality processes for new product launches, collaborate with customers on technical requirements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction targets.


Company Introduction:

In this position, you will be working at our Kütahya/Tavşanlı factory, which was acquired by Volex in 2023. Murat Ticaret is a leading manufacturer of cable harnesses and battery cables designed for off-road vehicles and specialty vehicles. Murat Ticaret currently employs approximately 4000 people across its various production facilities in Turkey.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and follow up on the quality processes related to newly launched projects,
  • Ensure the review of technical drawings and specifications during the product launch process,
  • Identify special characteristics and reach an agreement with the customer regarding them,
  • Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities,
  • Take part in Process FMEA and Control Plan studies and prepare these documents for product files,
  • Prepare the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation and submit it to the customer,
  • Review and record customer complaints and returns; initiate, follow up, and communicate corrective actions related to customer complaints,
  • Prevent the shipment of nonconforming products to customers, ensure the identification and containment of all potential nonconforming products,
  • Issue daily internal defect reports related to assigned customers, ensure investigation of internal defects and implementation of preventive actions,
  • Participate in audits related to assigned customers and ensure that these audits are carried out effectively,
  • Contribute to the identification and implementation of corrective actions for nonconformities detected during customer audits,
  • Support the determination of methods for solving existing or potential nonconformities, identify temporary measures to initiate activities, and assist in determining root causes of nonconformities.


Requirements and Skills:

  • Graduated from the Faculty of Engineering,
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position,
  • Intermediate to good level of English (reading, writing, speaking),
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA,
  • Familiar with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements,
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in analysis and problem-solving techniques,
  • Preferably knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing techniques,
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
