Our client, one of the major Oil & Gas companies in Saudi is looking to hire a Quality Engineer to be part of their Manufacturing facility in KSA.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality & Inspection
-
Perform
in-process inspections
including Visual, Dimensional, PMI, Traceability, and verification against the
Inspection Test Plan (ITP)
.

Conduct reviews of
Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
and
Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)
.
-
Monitor welding activities, evaluate weld quality, and maintain welding documentation from a
quality perspective
.
-
Support
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
activities and coordinate with NDT technicians.
-
Ensure proper traceability and documentation of materials, consumables, and welds.
Quality Systems & Compliance
-
Create, implement, and maintain
Quality Control (QC) systems
, standards, and procedures.
-
Participate in and support
QMS audits
, internal compliance checks, and corrective action programs.
-
Handle
Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs)
, conduct root‑cause analysis, and drive corrective & preventive actions.
-
Conduct trend analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
-
Lead or support
Third-Party Inspection (TPI)
coordination for ongoing projects.
Supplier / Customer Interface
-
Manage
Notice of Inspection (NOI)
interactions with suppliers and customers.
-
Ensure timely inspection readiness, documentation submission, and closure of inspection remarks.

Maintain effective communication with external inspectors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (mandatory).
-
Minimum
3 years of experience
in shopfloor or field engineering roles in oil & gas industry.
-
Working experience in quality control, inspections, welding, and material traceability.
-
Hands-on understanding of industry standards, fabrication workflows, and inspection methodologies.
Preferred Certifications & Skills
-
QMS Internal Auditor certification.
-
Welding certification or knowledge
such as
CSWIP 3.1
or equivalent (preferred).
-
NDT Level II
certification (ASNT CP-189 or ISO 9712) (preferred).

Strong background in:

Knowledge in maintaining QC documentation, ITPs, MS/PS, FAT, and welding records.
