Quality Engineer (Civil)

EXPERIENCE:5-10 YEARS

Key Responsibilities in Construction

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction work complies with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and material submittals to confirm quality expectations.
• Document non-compliance issues, facilitate corrective actions, and maintain inspection and test records.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve quality-related concerns.
• Prepare and maintain quality manuals, inspection plans, and as-built documentation for project handover.
• Oversee material receiving inspections, testing, and storage compliance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
• Assist in third-party inspections and audits as required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, codes, and construction regulations.
• Expertise in quality management systems (such as ISO 9001) and construction quality methodologies.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail for detecting and addressing quality issues.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Problem-solving skills and proactive approach to resolving conflicts and preventing defects.

Typical Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in construction quality control or QA/QC engineering.
• Familiarity with quality control tools, procedures, and relevant software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
