Job Title: Quality Engineer – Packaging Manufacturing
Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Control & Assurance
- Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished packaging for compliance with specifications.
- Conduct routine quality checks such as visual inspection, dimension verification, compression tests, and leak or burst tests.
- Ensure adherence to ISO standards and internal quality procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate measuring instruments and testing equipment.
2. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation.
- Maintain batch traceability and ensure proper recordkeeping for audits.
- Support customer complaints investigations and create corrective and preventive action (CAPA) reports.
3. Process Improvement
- Identify root causes of quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Work with production and maintenance teams to reduce scrap and rework.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Lean projects.
4. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BRC, GMP, etc.).
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
- Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Packaging Technology.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within the packaging manufacturing industry (e.g., corrugated boxes, flexible packaging, plastic containers, or cartons).

Pay: ₹30,119.69 - ₹40,579.62 per month
