Quality Engineer- SMT

Job Title: SMT Quality Control Engineer

Department: Production / Quality

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor SMT (Surface Mount Technology) production lines.
• Verify solder paste printing, component placement, and reflow soldering quality.
• Identify and analyze process defects (tombstoning, bridging, missing components, etc.).
• Prepare inspection and defect reports; maintain quality records.
• Coordinate with Production, Process, and Maintenance teams for corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with IPC standards and in-house quality procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and yield enhancement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. in Electronics or related field.
• 24 years of experience in SMT quality inspection or process monitoring.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of SMT machines (Pick & Place, SPI, AOI, Reflow).
• Understanding of IPC-A-610 standards.
• Basic soldering and inspection techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
