Quality Inspector

Novaplast Custom Molders is a leading manufacturer of precision plastic components for the automotive industry. We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector with experience in the automotive manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, monitoring in-process production, and maintaining compliance with defined quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process, final inspection, and incoming material inspection as per quality standards.
• Check parts visually and dimensionally using gauges, vernier calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Monitor production lines to ensure adherence to work instructions and control plans.
• Identify defects, record non-conformities, and coordinate with production for corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain QC documentation.
• Ensure implementation of 5S and safety standards within the inspection area.
• Support QA/QC team in root cause analysis and continual improvement activities.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong understanding of automotive quality standards and processes.
• Proficiency in using CAD/CREO software is a plus point.
• Basic knowledge of molding processes will be an advantage.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple quality-related tasks.

Qualification:

• Diploma in Mechanical (Pak-Swiss Training Centre – preferred/required).

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of QA/QC experience in an auto parts manufacturing company.
