Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift

We are hiring a Quality Inspector for our 2nd shift at our Concord, NC facility.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with all company safety policies, GMP standards, and workplace conduct requirements
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on printed labels and folding cartons to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards
• Inspect and disposition raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods, documenting non-conformances as required
• Use various measurement and test equipment (MTE) such as calipers, micrometers, densitometers, and vision systems; perform routine calibration and verification of equipment
• Review job jackets, specifications, and approved standards to verify production requirements are clearly understood and followed
• Monitor production processes throughout the shift to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of product output
• Identify quality issues, defects, or process deviations and escalate concerns promptly to supervisors or management
• Assist manufacturing operators in interpreting job requirements, quality standards, and corrective actions
• Support investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions when quality issues arise
• Assist in training and mentoring team members on inspection procedures, quality standards, and best practices
• Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and documentation in accordance with company and customer requirements
• Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, managers, and customers regarding quality expectations and concerns

Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Prior quality and/or package printing experience preferred
• Possess excellent computer skills
• Ability to lift 10 - 15 pounds continuously with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
