Quality Inspector (Structural & Piping)

Academic Qualification

• Engineering Diploma or Engineering Degree or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 6 years and above’ experience with recorded details

Training (Optional)

• CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector or equivalent as Minimum.

Skills (Optional)

• Familiar with Construction codes ASME B 31.3, ASME B 31.4, API 1104, AWS D1.1 etc

• Familiar with GRE pipeline will be preferred.

• Shall have experience in Pipeline quality inspections

Job Responsibilities :

· Responsible for QA/QC Inspections

· Responsible for Monitoring Project Quality KPI’s

· Responsible for Piping/Structure Inspections coordination

· Welding Inspection-Pre-Welding, During welding & after welding stages on Inspection.

· Witnessing of PQR Welding, Mechanical tests & Documentation etc.

· Qualification of Welders and monitoring their performance.

· Pipeline Inspection. WPS in accordance with API 1104. ROW & Pipeline Laying Inspection ASME 31.4 & 31.8. Testing and cleaning (pigging, flushing) of Pipelines.

· Piping Inspection. Installation in accordance with ASME B31.3. Support installation verification and final testing (pneumatic, hydro & diesel)

· Chemical Cleaning/Pickling and Passivation. Verification of cleaning procedures and testing of items

· Coordinating the inspection with Project team with the supervisors and foreman.

· Carrying out material inspections such as Welding, Painting, Piping, Structural etc.

· Inspecting and coordinating the piping Fabrication/Erection activities along with fit up inspections and documentation.

· Preparation of AS BUILT DRAWINGS according to the client’s scope.

· Witnessing the pressure test like Pneumatic testing and Hydro test as per requirements

· Responsible for raising Non-Conformance Reports

· Any other QA/QC Responsibilities assigned as per Project Quality requirements.
