Key Accountabilities:

Comply with HSE requirements and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring all company and regulatory standards are achieved at all times.

Develop and implement quality management plans, including resources, systems, timescales, and budget, to support, contribute to, and integrate within the organization’s annual business plan and long-term strategy.

Develop and maintain systems to establish standards relating to activities and products at all shopfloors.

Act as primary interface with customers for quality issues, complaints, audits, and corrective actions.

Establish and implement a necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across all departments and shopfloors.

Ensure all quality procedures, work instructions, control plans, inspection/test methods, audits, and records are current and properly applied.

Work closely with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Sales to align quality goals with business objectives.

Lead investigations into non-conformances and customer claims.
-
Deploy continuous improvement programs (Lean, Six Sigma, SPC) to reduce scrap, rework, deviations, improve first-pass yield, and process capability.

Present quality performance data to senior management and drive actions based on trends.

Ensure that all measurement, test, and inspection equipment is calibrated, maintained, and valid.

Liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary (where impacting/affected by quality issues)

Evaluating risks and opportunities across programs and projects and developing contingencies and plans as appropriate to meet these.

Lead, mentor, and motivate the quality team to achieve individual and team targets. Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance their performance and development.

Set clear objectives, monitor progress, and conduct performance evaluations for team members.
-
Ensure any changes (process, product, material) go through proper review, testing, approval with quality oversight, and minimal disruption.
Qualification & Education:
Education:
B.Sc. of Engineering or a relevant discipline.

10-15 years
