What you will do
Quality Manager at Johnson Controls, İzmir Plant drives continuous improvement in Production Quality Deliverables such as IPPM, SPPM, and Warranty. This role is the main contact for Operations, addressing customer issues, monitoring Quality Key measures, and managing customer-specific initiatives. You will oversee implementation of Quality Systems including ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, and ISO45001:2018. Responsibilities include approving post-S.O.P. Supplier PPAPs, providing technical support for supplier issues, analyzing production defects, and maintaining control plans. You will review Quality Gates based on feedback, conduct various audits, and support the enhancement of Operator Description Sheets (ODS). You will utilize statistical tools, mentor team members, and develop inspection quality control checklists based on customer complaints and field data.

How you will do it
  • Prepare and present internal training on quality topics.
  • Compile periodic KPI reports.
  • Conduct internal audits.
  • Manage problem-solving methods such as 8D Report and Lean 6 Sigma.
  • Develop a Warranty System using field data for cost improvements.
  • Follow up on corrective actions for warranty issues.
  • Act as Customer Liaison for warranty issues and coordinate with Production or Suppliers.
  • Participate in Warranty Roadmaps and Lessons Learned Workshops.
  • Monitor the Customer Warranty System and engage in workgroups like PFMEA and CI.
  • Ensure compliance with certification processes including TSEK and Eurovent.

What we look for
Required
  • Minimum 5 years in quality control within manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering.
  • Excellent English.
  • Experience with Control Plan, PFMEA, and PPAP processes.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Certified Internal Auditor.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in welding and brazing processes.
  • Familiarity with TSEK, Eurovent, and PED.
  • Experience in HVAC industry.
  • Certification in ISO 14001:2015 and/or ISO 45001:2018 standards.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Experience with SAP and Minitab.
