Quality Manager French Fries Factory / KSA site

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain the facility's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with international standards such as ISO 22000, HACCP, SQF, and BRC.

· Oversee the intake of raw potatoes, checking for sugar content, solid levels, and defects that could affect fry color and crispiness.

· Monitor the entire processing line, from peeling and cutting to blanching, frying, and flash-freezing, to ensure consistency.

· Direct lab testing for oil quality (acid values), product texture, and microbial safety (e.g., Listeria or Salmonella testing).

· Investigate non-conforming batches or customer complaints, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

· Lead regular internal audits and act as the primary contact for external regulatory inspections and 3rd-party certification audits.

· Train factory staff on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), personal hygiene, and safety protocols.

Job Requirements

· A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or Chemical Engineering.

· Experience not less than 15 years in food manufacturing quality assurance, with specific experience in frozen vegetables or potato processing preferred.

· Certifications: Deep knowledge of HACCP, GFSI (BRC/SQF), and OSHA safety rules is often mandatory.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and specialized quality tracking software.

· Strong leadership and the ability to manage a team of QC technicians and lab analysts.
