The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols across all operations for noon minutes, the quick-commerce leader in the GCC region. This role requires a strong, proactive leader capable of driving continuous improvement and upholding the highest standards of product and service quality. The Quality Manager will work closely with commercial operations-including warehouse teams, dark stores, in-stock planning, and last-mile delivery-to ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What you'll need
Quality Systems & Standards
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) tailored to quick-commerce and perishable food operations.
- Define and enforce quality control procedures, SOPs, and performance metrics across product handling, storage, delivery, and inbound receiving, extending to vendor supply locations.
- Ensure all operational processes are aligned with HACCP, SFDA guidelines, and international quality standards.
Monitoring & Audits
- Track, analyze, and report quality performance data to identify systemic issues, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Lead regular internal and external quality audits of warehouses, dark stores, and last-mile delivery operations.
- Conduct routine vendor and supplier compliance checks to ensure adherence to food safety and product integrity requirements.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify, assess, and mitigate quality and food safety risks across the supply chain.
- Investigate quality incidents, customer complaints, and product failures, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain documentation and regulatory records required for compliance with SFDA and other governmental authorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during inspections and regulatory visits.
Reporting & Insights
- Prepare and present quality reports, dashboards, and incident summaries to senior leadership during weekly business reviews.
- Recommend operational improvements based on audit findings, data trends, and root-cause analyses.
Leadership & Training
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Food Quality Leads and Inspectors across markets.
- Deliver ongoing quality and food safety training for warehouse, dark store, and last-mile teams.
- Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across operations.
What you'll need (continued)
Bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, or a related discipline.
- 8-12 years of progressive quality management experience within perishable food, FMCG, retail, or quick-commerce environments.
- Strong knowledge of SFDA regulations, HACCP, and international quality standards (ISO 22000, BRC, FSSC 22000).
- Experience managing quality in high-volume, fast-moving supply chains.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is highly preferred for effective communication with suppliers, regulators, and cross-functional teams.
