We are seeking a motivated and skilled Quality Officer to join our Quality Control and Assurance team.

Position Details

Designation: Quality Officer
Department: Quality Control and Assurance

Responsibilities:

Core Quality Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce the company’s Quality Policy.
• Conduct detailed inspections of all incoming materials including paper, board, reels, master cartons, and flexo inks.
• Maintain accurate records, inspection reports, and documentation for all incoming materials and production quality checks.
• Take timely actions on rejected or non-conforming materials.
• Perform quality inspections before, during, and after bulk production.
• Carry out final inspections at output and dispatch according to AQL standards.
• Inspect and monitor production processes for paper cups, glasses, bags, and napkins to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Oversee and execute all quality control and quality assurance activities including inspections, audits, and testing.
• Ensure production processes are aligned with the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Implement corrective and preventive actions whenever required.
• Respond promptly to quality-related inquiries.
• Ensure continuous improvement of production processes, systems, and quality standards.

Coordination and Reporting

• Coordinate with Planning, Sales, and Design departments to ensure quality expectations are met.
• Monitor daily production records and maintain accurate documentation.
• Prepare and submit quality reports for management review.
• Report all quality findings, issues, and updates directly to the CEO.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing and rectifying customer complaints effectively.

Team and Leadership Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, motivate, and guide the Quality Team.
• Provide leadership to ensure all QC staff understand and follow quality procedures.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements:

Education: Graduate
Experience: Minimum 3 years in Quality Control or Assurance; candidates with experience in the packaging industry will be preferred.
Age Range: 25-40 years

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
• Leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
