Job Purpose
• Support the implementation of the organization’s Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure suitable documentation is available to users through timely and efficient issue, revision, and replacement as appropriate.
• Promote a positive quality culture and support operational activities with the analysis and development of necessary related training and documentation including sector specific IMS plans, procedures, templates, and forms.
• Accurate records related to audits, quality activities / requirements, and IMS are maintained and accessible.
• Conduct internal quality audits of operational activities and other functions / tasks to assess and confirm level of compliance with IMS documentation and identify opportunities for improvement.
Principal Accountabilities
• IMS document maintenance, administration, and improvement.
• Review and address user IMS feedback.
• Prepare the communication of IMS changes and updates to users.
• Identify potential quality and IMS training needs and develop / deliver such training as agreed.
• Collate quality performance data necessary to support the achievement of organization objectives.
• Support the preparation of the organization’s quality Audit Programme.
• Lead internal quality audits and participate in external audits conducted by the organization’s Third-party certification body as required.
• Support activities for the organization’s Third-party ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 certification of IMS.
• Conduct quality audits of PMEC, contractor, and other subcontractors / suppliers per the Audit Programme.
• Follow-up and ensure the closure of any non-compliances identified through quality audits or inspection processes.
• Monitor and follow-up audits to ensure the completion of the quality cycle.
• Monitor and provide feedback on PMEC, contractor, and other subcontractors / supplier quality audits or inspections.
• Support the implementation of quality incentive processes.
• Assist with evaluations of subcontractors / supplier quality compliance capabilities prior to contract award.
• Participate in quarterly Senior Management reviews of quality performance and IMS outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
• University qualification in a relevant engineering or manufacturing or management field.
• Minimum five (5) years’ work experience in the application of quality assurance / quality control principles in Oman and/or UAE. Experience in major infrastructure construction or manufacturing is ideal, rail sectors is an advantage.
• Communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken English language. Written and spoken Arabic language is an advantage.
• Competent user of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and online document control systems.
• Third-party certification as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
• Qualifications in Train the Trainer are an advantage.
