Business Unit Purpose

To uphold and continuously improve the organization*s Quality Management System (QMS) by ensuring compliance with ISO standards, implementing effective internal controls, and supporting operational excellence across all business functions.

Job Purpose

To assist the Senior Quality Manager in managing the daily quality operations, ensuring proper control, monitoring, and continuous improvement of departmental work procedures across all ISO-certified areas of the organization.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

Coordinate and provide guidance to Department Heads in developing, reviewing, and enhancing departmental work procedures in alignment with ISO certification requirements.
Organize and conduct internal quality audits to ensure adherence to documented procedures, manuals, and ISO standards.
Identify non-conformances, raise NCRs, and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to ensure closure.
Conduct supplier audits jointly with Central Purchasing and Health & Safety teams, classifying suppliers as approved, pre-qualified, or rejected based on audit outcomes.
Perform Quality Management System (QMS) performance measurement and prepare statistical analyses to support management reviews and decision-making.
Track and follow up on audit action plans arising from internal and external (surveillance) audits to ensure timely implementation.
Support the Senior Quality Manager in preparing submissions for the Dubai Quality Awards and monitoring the execution of post-assessment recommendations.
Coordinate and analyze customer surveys and other QMS-related feedback mechanisms to identify improvement opportunities.
Organize and deliver training sessions on quality management topics to enhance awareness and competency among EKFC staff.
Supervise quality team members, including Quality Officers and SQOs, ensuring optimal performance, adherence to standards, and proper roster scheduling.
Apply and uphold EKFC*s Quality Policy and Quality System in accordance with ISO 9001 standards, ensuring all departmental responsibilities align with defined quality procedures.

Job Context

The Quality Specialist supports the Senior Quality Manager in maintaining EKFC*s commitment to excellence and compliance with international quality standards. The role ensures that all departments consistently implement the Quality Management System and that continuous improvement initiatives are sustained across all certified areas. This position requires close coordination with multiple departments and suppliers to maintain high operational standards and align processes with ISO certification requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience

Educational Qualification:
A-Level or Diploma in a relevant discipline (mandatory).
Certification in Quality Management Systems (preferred).

Work Experience:
Minimum of 7 years* experience with A-Level qualification or 5 years with a Diploma in a similar role within an ISO-regulated environment.
Completion of all required operational and advanced-level quality training.

Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across various management levels and departments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proven ability to organize audits, analyze results, and drive corrective actions.
