Quality Specialist for Knitting & Seaming

Job Overview
We are seeking someone to join our Quality Team on the Production side. This role is to monitor the knitting/seaming production for quality problems and support the knitting/seaming operation through daily testing and continuous inspection of sock production.

Swing shift:

• 12-hour shifts / 7 days as follows:
• Week 1 - 4 days
• Week 2 - 3 days

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform daily quality and sizing tests on each product per knitting machine in production.
• Conduct a daily inspection of all knitting and seaming operators.
• Responsible for processing and preparation of newly developed sock product.
• Continuously monitor multiple knitting and seaming machines to ensure quality production.
• Responsible for data entry for quality information.
• Inspect and approve style changes on knitting machines.
• Operating knowledge of various dyeing equipment is essential in the quality testing process.
• Work with other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Maintained cleanliness of surrounding area.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Need two or more years of experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in knitting operation
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to handle product weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Proven analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
• Clear communication and understanding
• Good attendance and attitude

Pay: $13.00 - $13.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
