Role Purpose
Ensure the effectiveness, compliance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and OEM requirements. Independently conduct internal audits, support external audits, analyze process effectiveness, strengthen procedural controls, and drive system-level improvements across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
a. QMS & Auditing
· Plan, execute, and report internal audits according to ISO 9001, and internal audit program.
· Ensure ISO awareness and compliance across all functions.
· Prepare for and participate in external audits, supporting OEM, certification, and regulatory requirements.
· Track, review, and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including effectiveness checks.
· Maintain audit records, reports, and QMS documentation according to document control procedures.
b. Process Analysis & Improvement
· Perform process analysis to evaluate effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance.
· Identify process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities using risk-based and data-driven methods.
· Apply process improvement methodologies (PDCA, root cause analysis, VDA 6.3 logic).
· Provide practical improvement suggestions to process owners and management.
c. Procedural Controls & Documentation
· Create, review, and maintain procedural checks, work instructions, and control mechanisms.
· Ensure accurate and controlled QMS documentation, including procedures, audit records, and forms.
· Support management review preparation and KPI reporting.
d. Tools & Reporting
· Utilize MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) effectively for analysis, reporting, and audit tracking.
· Prepare clear, structured audit reports and presentations for management.
e. Quality Culture & Collaboration
· Promote a culture of quality awareness, compliance, and continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining auditor independence.
f. Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
· 3–6 years of experience in QMS, internal audits, or quality/excellence functions in automotive manufacturing.
· Strong ISO 9001 knowledge.
· Internal Auditor certification required; Lead Auditor certification preferred.
· Demonstrated experience preparing for and participating in external audits.
g. Skills & Competencies
