Key responsibilities

Team management and leadership:

Provide direction and support to the quality team.

Set goals and delegate tasks based on team members' expertise.

Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to team members.

Monitor team performance and conduct performance reviews.

Manage team performance issues, such as quality shrinkage or attrition.

Foster a positive work environment and resolve conflicts.

Quality assurance and process management:

Develop, implement, and manage test plans and strategies.

Oversee test execution and analyze results to identify defects.

Ensure products and services meet required standards before release.

Coordinate activities across quality control, assurance, and improvement functions.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives for quality processes and tools.

Collaboration and communication:

Act as a liaison between the quality team, management, and other departments, such as development and product teams.

Communicate clearly with the team and stakeholders.
