Quantity Surveor

Desert Rose Landscaping is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of hands-on experience in landscaping projects, with a strong background in cost estimation, tendering, and project valuation. This role requires technical precision, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage project budgets effectively from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for landscaping projects.

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope of work to determine material and labor requirements.

Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.

Prepare and monitor project budgets, variations, and progress claims.

Conduct site measurements and valuations to ensure cost control and accurate billing.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure cost efficiency.

Prepare interim payment applications and support final account settlements.

Maintain updated cost data and project records for management review.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.

4–5 years of proven experience in landscaping or construction cost estimation.

Strong understanding of landscaping materials, irrigation systems, and soft/hardscape works.

Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity take-off software.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
