QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures, ensuring value for money while meeting all legal and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for projects.

Review and evaluate project drawings, specifications, and contracts.

Monitor and control project costs to avoid budget overruns.

Manage procurement processes and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors.

Prepare and submit interim payment applications and final accounts.

Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify work completed.

Prepare variations, claims, and contract documentation.

Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and contractual requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects.

Strong knowledge of construction contracts, BOQ preparation, and cost control.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and quantity surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, CostX, or similar).

Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant certifications are an advantage.

Job for ladies with own or spouse visa.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
