Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in construction or engineering projects. The candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budget management, contract administration, and ensuring project costs align with financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and budgets for projects.
• Tendering & Procurement: Draft tender documents, analyze bids, and support contract negotiations.
• Cost Monitoring: Track project expenditures, manage variations, and ensure cost control.
• Contract Administration: Oversee contracts, prepare payment applications, and handle claims or disputes.
• Reporting: Develop detailed cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and project financial updates.
• Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and clients for smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, ideally in construction, engineering, or facility management projects.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, CostX, or Primavera).
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and report generation.
• Strong knowledge of contractual laws and standards.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Certifications: RICS, MRICS, or equivalent professional memberships (preferred).
