Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor (QS) Reports To: Project Manager / Commercial Head / Project Head Experience Required: 5–12 years Key Responsibilities: BOQ and Estimation ● Prepare, verify, and update Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings and specifications. ● Conduct rate analysis and prepare cost estimates for civil and MEP works. Billing & Measurements ● Take joint measurements at site and prepare contractor bills. ● Verify subcontractor and supplier bills based on work done and contract terms. ● Maintain and update measurement sheets and billing logs. Cost Monitoring & Control ● Track actual costs against budget and report variances. ● Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts and project cost reports. Tendering & Contracts ● Assist in preparing tender documents, including scope of work and commercial terms. ● Evaluate contractor/vendor quotes and negotiate rates. Coordination & Reporting ● Coordinate with site engineers, planning, and procurement teams for progress and material updates. ● Generate MIS reports on cost, progress, billing, and commitments. Key Skills: * Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQ, rate analysis * Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., Candy, CostX) * Understanding of contract law and construction contracts (FIDIC, CPWD, etc.)

Pay: ₹30,000.52 - ₹53,664.77 per month
